1. 형식

1. 1, 2형식 = 자동사 vi
2. 2, 5형식 = 보어 c
3. 3형식 = vt + O

이어동사 👂 : ‘타동사 + 부사’ - 원래 없던 새로운 뜻의 동사(단어가 2개라서 이어동사)

 turn off
 turn on
 put on
 take off

2. 이어동사 구문 예

ex) Take off the shoes
= Take the shoes off (O)
= Take off them (X) → 대명사는 끝에 쓸 수 없다.
= Take them off (O)

cf) look at the sky / rely on
= 자동사 + 전치사는 이어동사가 아니다 = look the sky at (x)

3. 자동사로 혼동하기 쉬운 타동사(해석상 전치사가 있을 것 같은 동사)

ex) I marry (with) you.
ex) I discuss (about) it.
ex) I mention (about) it.
→ 괄호는 없어야함.

4. 타동사로 혼동하기 쉬운 자동사(해석상 전치사가 없을 것 같은 동사)

ex) I hope for your success
ex) I look at the sky
ex) I subscribe to time
